Robert Sellens

Biography

Robert Sellens is a highly skilled recording engineer at Decoy Studios in Suffolk, where he has been honing his craft since 2016 under the mentorship of Cenzo Townshend. With over a decade of experience in the recording industry, Robert has worked on projects for top-tier artists, including Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Everything Everything, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Don Broco, The Big Moon, Ella Henderson, and Maisie Peters.

Robert's journey into the world of music engineering began in 2010 while studying Music Technology at Braintree College and later, Audio Recording and Production at Hertfordshire University. During his studies, he gained invaluable experience through placements at renowned studios such as Livingston Studios, RAK Studios, and Yellow Fish Studios, working alongside respected figures in the industry, including Phill Brown, Jake Gordon, and Billy Halliday.

After university, Robert further developed his skills with stints at Fossil Studios and Church Studios, assisting producers like Paul Epworth, Matt Wiggins, and Raz Olsher.

Since joining Decoy Studios, Robert has continued to refine his expertise in recording and mixing, contributing to projects across a wide range of genres, from indie rock to pop, solidifying his reputation as a versatile and dependable engineer.

Camden Clarke

Biography

Camden Clarke is the Dolby Atmos expert and senior mix assistant at Decoy Studios, where he has worked since 2017.

His journey into music began at the age of 10, when he started playing the drums. After completing a degree in Creative Music Production at ACM in Guildford, Camden ventured into music production, where he created soundtracks for international brands such as Dunlop, Jack Wolfskin, Arena, Precor, and Scottish Cycling. His role at Decoy Studios has seen him assist on projects for major artists, including Ed Sheeran, The Rolling Stones, James Arthur, Jake Bugg, Keane, Lucy Rose, Oh Wonder, and Birdy.

Now a specialist in immersive audio, Camden has mixed in Dolby Atmos for artists like Holly Humberstone, Everything Everything, Jamie T, The Specials, The Courteeners, Kawala, Sam Fender, Alfie Templeman, and Ashnikko. His technical expertise, paired with his creative flair, makes him a key player in shaping the studio's cutting-edge sound.

Madison Claridge

Biography

Madison Claridge is a dedicated studio engineer at Decoy Studios, where his technical expertise and extensive musical background come together to create a highly collaborative and personalised approach to each project.

Having started his musical journey as a drummer at the age of 7, Madison has cultivated a deep understanding of music performance and production, making him a key asset at Decoy. After earning a degree in Music Production from the Academy of Contemporary Music, Madison has since transitioned into the world of audio engineering, where he has worked with a range of artists across genres.

At Decoy Studios, Madison focuses on crafting high-quality recordings that align with each artist's vision. His warm, approachable nature and dedication to client satisfaction have helped him form strong collaborative relationships with both emerging and established acts. His engineering credits include work with Everything Everything, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Sam Fender, Holly Humberstone, Kingfishr, and Alfie Templeman, further solidifying his role as a key engineer in Decoy’s talented team.
